Arkreen’s Community Solar Program (CSP) leverages the Web3 community to integrate solar photovoltaic (PV) systems into the Arkreen network through its innovative Plant Miner. This program aims to build renewable energy resources in a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) model, enabling ReFi applications for public goods. Participants can activate CSP licenses by purchasing remote miners and selecting integration modes like Smart Meter hardware or API Acquisition for specific inverter brands. These steps build a globally coordinated green energy network.
The application process involves purchasing 20 remote miners to activate the CSP license, choosing integration modes (hardware or API), and submitting the CSP form with details about the solar PV system. Modes differ in cost, with Smart Meters priced at $199 and API subscriptions at $50/year after the first year. Participants must submit photos and system information, ensuring compliance with local laws. Arkreen's support team guides applicants through onboarding, from hardware delivery to marketing plans.
Plant Miner rewards depend on the performance of associated Remote Miners, with batches of miners released based on the system’s capacity. Participants can also earn Community Impact Ambassador rewards, with details forthcoming. Arkreen recently trialed a CSP staking service, which has been temporarily paused for improvements. Existing CSP operations and rewards remain unaffected, ensuring continuous support for the decentralized green energy network.
The CSP program highlights Arkreen's mission to decentralize renewable energy infrastructure and incentivize climate action. By simplifying access and providing flexible integration options, Arkreen fosters global collaboration to combat climate change. Its innovative approach empowers individuals to contribute to renewable energy growth while benefiting from financial incentives and community support.
